57 Days Later...how are you REALLY doing?

Maybe you feel like the year has flown by and you can hardly believe that we're nearly 20% done with the year.

We're all feeling time rushing past us...but my question to you is...

...have you been making the most of the first 2 months of the year?

If you're like me, it's hard to even pause to take stock of how things have gone in just the 1st eight weeks of 2026.

But both personally and in our community, there have been a lot of wins.

  • We've welcomed 3 new members into our 360 community and seen ever more engagement and collaboration in our app.
  • We've enjoyed a great Creator Expert workshop in January on Bible Study, and in February we'll present our February workshop on Time Management for Creators- which will make our Creator Resource Library even more valuable for our members.
  • I had the honor of speaking live at Podfest Expo in Orlando and virtually for LaShonda Brown's Bootstrap Biz membership.
  • I got to perform in some wonderful shows in my local jazz community and reconnected with some long time musical friends.

Sharing these milestones with you aren't my attempt to brag - it's to be transparent about how things are really going - and there have been plenty of struggles that I'm still trying to overcome.

In our 360 community, our goals are based on the theme of the BEST CREATOR YEAR EVER... and even if your first two months weren't your best - it's not too late to recover.

Here's all 12 months of the framework - and as you can see, none of them can truly be done in just one month.

January: Spiritual Alignment and Growth

February: Vision and Planning

March: Building a Community

April: Monetization Foundations

May: Time Management and Focus

June: Branding and Messaging

July: Creative Growth and Skill-Building

August: Clarity and Calling

September: Networking and Collaboration

October: Advanced Monetization Strategies

November: Visibility and Promotion

December: Reflection and Renewal

Just pick one of these to focus on and you'll see your results begin to trend positively! Or even better, join our 360 community where we help you actually achieve your goals in each of these areas.

As Ecclesiastes tells us, there is truly a time for every season - but every season contains an opportunity to grow and move forward as a God-centered creator.

My prayer is that you're doing all you can to take advantage of every moment, leaning into His grace when things go wrong, and staying connected with fellow creators who can encourage and inspire you - which is exactly why we're here for you.

Take Control of Your Calendar

Feeling like your schedule is running you instead of you running your schedule? Creators need to feel in control of their time in order to create in freedom, but it's often a struggle for us. That's why leadership coach Julie Riga will join us for our February Creator Expert workshop to help us "Author our Week" and truly master our calendars on Friday, 2/27 at 1pm Eastern. (note: this replaces our normal Creator Checkup livestream this week)

Members of our 360 Creator Community (GOLD and Creator Resource) get automatic access to this workshop. If you're not a member, you can get one-time access for $10 - OR you can upgrade to the Creator Resource membership and get access to ALL of our workshops.

Divine Attention to Details As we step into this year's celebration of the risen Savior, one thought has been echoing in my mind. Jesus had the most important mission of all time - which meant He had the most potential distractions of anyone who ever lived. Any missed moment, lapse of judgement, or wasted opportunity could have potentially knocked Him off course on His way to fulfill God's purpose. And yet, He didn't let a single ball drop. He took care of His family, even in His dying...

God and Gigs 360 Gold (Presentation (16:9))

Only one question This is a different kind of "Creator Checkup"... ..because I'm the one that needs checking on. I'm sending you this in the midst of the recovery period after a tough two weeks with my family. And while I know everyone in our community is facing something...it's important that I'm open and honest with you. Because it doesn't make sense to call this a "Checkup" if we don't admit when things are going right and when things are going wrong. My wife and I use this method all the...

Just how many hats are you wearing? I don't mean fedoras, sombreros or trucker hats, of course. I'm referring the metaphorical 'hats' that we all wear in our different roles, both in our creative work and in our families and personal lives. I experienced the hat-switching at a brand new level just this week, as I found myself coordinating a band for an artist 400 miles away, while simultaneously working on our church's podcast recording and publishing. Surely this is a sign of potential...
